Prescott have confirmed that they will be holding their 2nd special hill climb event exclusively for car clubs to attend on Sunday 2nd April 2023! We have been invited again as one of the main clubs and I have arranged for the Supra Mk IV Club, the GR Yaris Club and hopefully the MR2 Drivers' Club to be invited too,
We participated in this last year as our major CCUK club meet and also used the occasion to present some club awards. I have secured places for 30 cars for our club, which will be the major club again. As the day was so successful last year, word has spread amongst car clubs and lots have been asking to be invited too. So, we will need to sign up quickly to this, as there just won't be any extra car spaces available for the Paddock. I believe 150 car spaces have been allocated.
Prescott is near Cheltenham (Glos) and is set in beautiful countryside. Many members have been here previously to attend the annual static club meets I've organised over the years, plus the 32 cars we had for last year's Hillclimb event and some members have attended Drivers' training schools organised by Prescott.
This will be an amazing club day and the opportunity to enjoy taking part in the iconic Hill Climb or watching others negotiating the course as a spectator. The runs will not be competitive or timed, therefore helmets NOT WORN. No experience whatsoever will be required, just a full driving licence and a roadworthy car that has normal insurance. Think of the hill climb runs as a great drive along a single track country lane, with no oncoming traffic!! There are quite a few of us in the club who have driven the hill for the first time - having never done track days or anything else like it, and we have all loved it!
Our Celica Club will have its own Club Zone area within the Paddock for socialising, and also within the Orchard where there will be camping if required. If lots of members want to come to spectate, we can also organise a club parking zone within the orchard parking area.
Prescott will be fully functioning as a motorsport venue – track Marshalls, Clubhouse with Chef and food, mobile food trucks, sun terrace, orchard area for camping and field overlooking the track for picnics. We will have some club gazebos on the grass area next to the Paddock for gathering as a focal point.
Please note: This event is open to FULL CLUB MEMBERS ONLY for hill climb tickets. Friends and family may come on spectator tickets. This event is also open to the public to book spectator tickets.

Car runs - runs £55 for 4
Spectator £12 Earlybird tickets (under 16's free)
Camping £10 per single pitch tent or motorhome for Sat 1st.
Please sign up on the list below so we know who is intending to come, and post on here when you have bought your relevant tickets by following the link to Prescott. It would be good to buy your tickets as soon as possible, in case I am put under pressure to give some of our spaces back to other clubs who are requesting them!!

Let's make sure we have a good turnout to represent the club before other clubs take the spaces. This applies in particular to the limited number of hill climb tickets, so if you know you would like 8 instead of 4 hill runs - buy two tickets now! You can always sell a couple on to other members on the day if you don't use them.
There won't be any limit on spectators and these tickets may be available on the gate.
