Je ne sais pas si certains ici sont sur le Celica Club UK mais cette prévision de sortie me fait envie, ça pourrait être sympa de faire un groupe de frenchies et de faire la route ensemble

Exciting news! Our Club Management are looking at the feasibility of holding our own Hill Climb Day at Prescott, Cheltenham on Sun 30th May 2021 (Bank Holiday). This might seem like a long time ahead, but this is the earliest date that Prescott have available and at the moment IT IS RESERVED FOR CCUK . This could be such an amazing day and the opportunity to enjoy taking part in the Hill Climb or watching others negotiating the Hairpin.
A little bit of background - Prescott is situated in glorious Cotswold countryside and is ideal for entertaining corporate guests with the added interest of being one of Europe’s most exciting motor sport venues. Corporate private events are limited to 8 per year, most of which are repeat bookings by Porsche Club, other car clubs, motorbike club and other corporate company events. Climbs would not be run as competitive or timed, therefore helmets NOT WORN. All attending members could take part in a slow convoy run for the experience for free.
We would have the full use of the venue – track Marshalls, Clubhouse with Chef and food, sun terrace, orchard areas and field for picnics, Paddock and other Parking. We anticipate getting other ‘special’ cars to be in attendance too.
Cost – there would be an entrance ticket price and for those who wanted to do the Hill Climb, a cost per run. Max 450 runs during the day.
Finance – in order to meet the costs of an event as big as this, Management will be approaching a couple of other clubs to join us and share the costs. It is hoped that some sponsorship will be available too.
For this to become a reality, Management need to gauge how much interest and support there would be, as the financial implications will partially depend on income from attendance, and meets of this magnitude take a lot of organisation. Those members who have attended our annual Prescott Meet, or the Prescott Drivers’ Training School Days will tell you what a great place it is. A real adrenaline rush and exciting to do the actual climb
